We are more concerned about where you are heading than where you have been. Take time and make yourself feel at home. 1st PC's 3rd Operating Value is 'people'. This means we do not choose who we serve, who we love, who we befriend.
While the Church is most concerned about helping people have a covenant relationship with Jesus; we see from His example, that He meets us where we are (John 4). The miracles that were performed by God in flesh, began with Him being moved by compassion.
We are instructed by the New Testament that love is the primary characteristic of a follower of Jesus (John 13:35).
