We seriously love Sundays. It is the beginning of the week. We get to start the week off in the house of God with our families and friends – like the psalmist said, this is better than a thousand days elsewhere (Ps. 84:10).
On Sundays at 1st PC we focus on connecting with God through lively worship and engaging preaching; usually, this is about a 90 minute service. While service begins at 1:00, we open the campus at 12:00 PM and pre-service prayer starts at 12:30 PM. Come early and enjoy some time with friends and family before worship!
Now would be a good time to tell you that you will love the coffee bar! These pre-service activities are a great opportunity to come and spend time getting ready for what God is going to do and to reconnect with family and friends over coffee and refreshments.
Maybe we could say that Wednesdays are our second favorite day of the week!
On Wednesdays our focus is discipleship and this happens in one-hour sessions for each age group. We believe that discipleship happens at home and is supplemented by the Church. At 1st PC everyone is studying the same content. This makes it realistic for families to connect over the material while at home. Each group has materials available that can be utilized throughout the week: lesson books, devotionals, and even activity books for the children.
